From Greene to Miles

This site is truly based on my own crazy life. Living down South, I met my husband in a big college town. I want to post things that you might expect with a Realtor, new mommy to puppy (Cody), still newly married, and in a recession. Not only that, but I LOVE fashion, family, and friends. I am a big believer in keeping your girls. I have typical 3rd (out of 4) child syndrome and love to call my sister ten years older than me "ass boobie" when we are upset (got that off TV show with all sisters). Live for and love my nephews. As I get older, I have learned "your body does start aging." Here is my blog:

Melrose Place is coming back to CW, will Heather Locklear come back and play the EVIL Amanda!!!

Heather Locklear in talks to move back to 'Melrose Place'; would reprise role from original show

Looks like "Melrose Place's" biggest meanie may be back.

Heather Locklear, who played Amanda Woodward on "Melrose Place" during its original run in the '90s, is in talks to return to the new CW version, premiering this fall.

She would reprise her role as the backstabbing ad executive Woodward, People reports. Former castmates Laura Leighton, Thomas Calabro, Josie BissettDaphne Zuniga have already signed on. and

The CW and a spokesperson for Locklear have yet to comment on the rumored negotiations, but there have been hints that the 47-year-old star would be welcomed back to her old address.

"We're huge fans of hers," executive producer Todd Slavkin said of Locklear earlier this summer. But she's not an automatic hire just because she's starred on the show in the past. Slavkin explained that "Melrose Place" alumni are being invited back on the basis of whether or not their characters would fit in, or feel contrived.

Meanwhile, "Melrose Place" is still a big part of Locklear's life, even if she doesn't join the new show. She's been dating Jack Wagner, who starred as her boyfriend on the show, Dr. Peter Burns.

Can't forget about the shoes and earrings!

August 21, 2009

May be this can give you a little sense of my style. I have to admit...these Lilly Pulitzer shoes were by far my biggest splurge. I have tried to wear them at every possible event. I feel really guilty on how much I spent, when I know not to be spending money...especially when I'm "commission only", new mommy to (Cody, of course), and trying to find a job for my husband! But I do have to say the earrings were just perfect with the shoes! They were not that expensive from Banana Republic. Oh...by the way...this recession sucks! But we will all be stronger people after this is all over!

I guess Cody's a Diet Coke fan!

Apparantly, our new little Cody has started a tradition when he rides in mommy's car!  This is a picture I took of him today, while he was in my car.  Being a first time puppy owner (at least one we have to take care of) I am learning quick and fast on what we can leave out and what we can't.  I can't believe that he is going to be around 70 lbs. one day!

I have to admit...I'm a huge Nancy Grace fan!!!

My husband sometimes cringes when he hears her show.  But I don't care, I love watching Nancy Grace.  I know that there are some haters but tell me are you a Nancy Grace fan?

After Ballywood...made a trip to Sephora

This is some of my all-time favorite eyeshadow brands. I love shadows that last ALL day long, no re-applying with Urban Decay!!

Sustainable Shadow Box

It’s gorgeous, it’s loaded with Eyeshadows, and it’s eco-friendly! The Sustainable Shadow Box holds TEN dynamic Eyeshadows, a cruelty-free Eyeshadow brush, AND a travel size bottle of Eyeshadow Primer Potion.

The ten shadows are best-sellers, and flattering on everyone. We arranged them in coordinating duos, but don’t be afraid to stray from our suggestions—ten shades means endless combinations of looks. All Eyeshadows deliver intense color and contain very few binders for beautiful hues that blend easily and last. Combine the eyeshadows with the magic of cult-favorite Eyeshadow Primer Potion for vibrant shadow that lasts all day, with no creasing! Try applying the shadows wet or dry with the help of the cruelty-free brush.

The lacquered case swings open to reveal a mirror for on-the-go application. Inky, coquettish doodles, reminiscent of your high school notebook (or maybe pages from your finance meeting) adorn the top of the palette.

We also constructed the Shadow Box from a laundry list of sustainable materials. The lacquered case is bamboo, an abundant, sustainable material (and the sexiest alternative to paper or plastic.) Shadows are nestled in a tray made of recycled paper, and the clear outer PET box is recyclable.

Our golden puppy, Cody

August 17, 2009

So like any newly married couple, before you have kids, you test a puppy...just like in Marley and me.  It's supposed to be the next step.  Anyway, that is how we get to Cody, our 10 week 11.7 lb. golden retriever puppy.  I mean just look at him, and he'll make you want to curl up in a ball with him!

Well Cody and I had a busy Monday morning.  After my run, decided to bring him into my builder's office (after all...I was dropping off a contract)!  After that, Cody's "mommy and daddy" decided he can now go to Pet Smart since he's had two shots.  Like any proud mom, I was happy to say we had NO accidents.  Somehow, during the recession, I have learned to spend $30 (more) on toys.  This girl cannot take a newly renovated house with new furniture to get destroyed.  But seriously, $30?
